On Saturday, Feb. 26, there will be a free leadership training program for women.
“Elect Her – Campus Women Win” will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the St. Charles Room. The all-day training will focus on teaching women how to run for public offices like SGA.
Saturday’s event is a part of a national initiative that promotes young women in political leadership programs. The event is free and lunch will be served to all those attending.
The event will also feature New Orleans city councilwoman Kristen Gisleson Palmer, and WDSU news anchor Camille Whitworth.
