The Loyola University Community Action Program will be hosting The Congo Tour presented by Invisible Children on Wednesday, March 2, at 7 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium.
The event will include a speaker from the Invisible Children organization as well as a screening of their new movie “Tony.”
The goal of the event is to inform students about the child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic and Sudan, and the actions Invisible Children has taken to create peace and rehabilitate the rescued child soldiers.
The event is a follow-up to the presentation given in 2010.
