22-year-old Cody Watts was indicted on a second-degree murder charge in connection with the death of Meghan Lopez, a former Loyola student, according to NOLA.com| The Times-Picayune website. Lopez attended Loyola in fall 2010.
According to authorities, Lopez and Watts took a synthetic hallucinogen, provided by Watts, on April 3, 2013. Hours later, Lopez suffered from a seizure and died from brain damages.
