Loyola University’s joint Committee to Review the Consequences of Pathways concluded its review of the university.
The review states that almost 6 years after Hurricane Katrina, Loyola is still having problems with some organizational structure, budgets, academic program and missions. These issues affect the university’s ability to function effectively in a very competitive educational environment.
The committee focused on the areas of education and computer science, stating that they both require immediate attention.
Pathways was created after Hurricane Katrina to help the university’s retention rates.
