According to a Loyola University press release from the Office of Public Affairs, an unidentified first year residential student has tested positive for the H1N1 flu virus and is being treated at his parents’ home in the New Orleans area. This is the only known H1N1 case at Loyola. Loyola’s custodial services have disinfected the student’s room and resident hallway, and those who have come in contact with him have been advised to visit Student Health Services.
