Academic Resource Center Counselor, Dennis Montelibano, 38, died on Thursday, Oct. 31, of cancer.
Montelibano was remembered by the Academic Resource Center staff.
“Whatever he did and wherever he was was a better place because of Dennis’ presence. Those of us who worked with Dennis in the ARC will be forever grateful for knowing him. He was full of grace,” said the Academic Resource Center staff.
An obituary that ran in the Lake Lawn Funeral Home and Cemeteries said Montelibano was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church International Shrine of St. Jude.
The funeral took place at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m.
Montelibano was survived by his mother, Imelda S. Montelibano, and nieces Mia Isabel Montelibano and Margo Lauren Montelibano, according to the Lake Lawn funeral home and cemeteries obituary.
