Edward Kvet, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, will step down from his position at the end of this academic year.
He announced this decision to the Provost’s Council Aug. 15. Taking the position in 2008, Kvet was previously the dean for the College of Music and Fine Arts.
A search committee will be formed in upcoming weeks to find the next provost.
