The Catholic Studies Program will be hosting a lecture by author George Weigel on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium.
Weigel is the Vatican analyst for NBC news and has authored or edited over 20 books on various topics. He is also the author of “Witness to Hope: The Biography of Pope John Paul II.” The lecture will focus on the final five years of John Paul II’s papacy.
Weigels’s lecture coincides with the release of his newest book, “The End and the Beginning, Pope John Paul II-the Victory of Freedom, the Last Years, the Legacy,” which also focuses on the end of John Paul II’s papacy.
