The Loyola men’s basketball team lost its exhibition game to the University of Louisiana Lafayette 72-92 Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the Cajundome. Wolf Pack forward and business junior Robert Lovaglio led the team with 23 points, shooting 6-15 from the field while his teammate, finance sophomore and power forward McCall Tomeny, had 17 points and 5 rebounds on the night. The Ragin’ Cajuns’ victory was led by Shawn Long and Bryant Mbamalu who combined for 37 points and 12 rebounds. Loyola (2-0) will open up its four-game homestand against Southern University of New Orleans Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
