Loyola’s baseball team came out on top last Saturday after playing against Southern Wesleyan University. The team won 4-2 in game one of the Saturday, April 5, doubleheader and won 11-8 in game two. This is the third series winning of the season for Loyola and the first against a conference opponent.
The Wolf Pack will return to the diamond on Friday, April 12, at 6 p.m. against Truett-McConnell College for the first of a three game set against the Bears.
Loyola will be honoring veterans and military personnel at Friday’s game. The team will then honor its seniors on Saturday as they will be playing their last home game.
