Dear Editor, I am writing in regards to the article published in The Maroon on April 21 about the alleged rape case. As a Tulane student who attended the party that evening, I can tell you that your article is completely one-sided and factually inaccurate. I realize that the author only has information from the ALLEGED victim, but in my opinion, before publishing an article on such a serious allegation, an author should investigate both sides of the case. If it’s not possible to find both arguments, the article shouldn’t be printed at all. The headline asserts that an attack took place despite there being no verified evidence supporting this claim. The integrity of this article is questionable at best. I urge you to consider publishing a less biased, more complete article next time.
