Pelicans’ season comes to a close

The Pelicans lost their final game of the season to the Minnesota Timberwolves 144-109.

Anthony Davis led the Pelicans in scoring with 24.3 point per game. The Pelicans finish the season with the fifth worst statistical defense in the NBA.

With the loss, the Pelicans finish the 2015-2016 regular season with a (30-52) record.

The bitter season could be chalked up to a number of things but none more than the amount of devastating injuries that began to pile up midway through the season.

The Pelicans will look to rest and return with a healthy roster next season.
