Women’s basketball splits two game road trip

This past weekend, the Loyola women’s basketball team traveled to Texas where they took on Huston-Tillotson University and Paul Quinn College.

On Friday Nov. 11, the Wolf Pack took on Huston-Tillotson beating the Rams 80-72. Junior, Zoie Miller’s career-high 24-point game helped propel the Wolf pack to the close victory. Senior, Meghan Temple added a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards, while freshman, Paige Franckiewicz notched 12 points, according to Loyola Athletics.

The Wolf pack went back on the road Saturday as they took on Paul Quinn College in Dallas, Texas, losing 62-58. Loyola struggled from beyond the arc, shooting 13.6%, according to Loyola Athletics. Temple led Loyola in scoring with 12 points while Franckiewicz and senior Kylah Jones chipped in with nine points a piece.

Loyola will take on Xavier University on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m.
