Loyola organizations host clean up event

Loyola’s dining team, Sodexo, the environmental program, and Students for Environmental Action will be hosting a volunteer program for World Cleanup Day at The Fly.

The social action program, World Cleanup Day, is an annual event with an end goal of cleaning up solid and marine waste. To help this cause, the event providing trash bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and lunch to those who volunteer.

This event will take place on Saturday, September 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. These organizations urge volunteers to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes, have a reusable water bottle, and bring a positive attitude.
