For 36 years, the New Orleans Film Festival has placed the spotlight on up-and-coming filmmakers in and around Louisiana as well as established creators within the medium. It attracts film lovers from all over the country and even overseas, garnering global attention and admiration, according to the New Orleans Film Society Website.

The New Orleans Film Society will be hosting their film festival from Oct. 23 to the 27th.

Additionally, two Loyola graduates will have their films screened at this festival. Look for “Last of the Shrimpers” by Jonathan Presson or “In the Light of a Miracle” by Oliver Parker.
