Brief: Loyola seeks nominations

Nominations for the Integritas Vitae Award are currently being accepted. The deadline has been extended to Friday, Sept. 13. According to the Office of Institutional Advancement’s website, this award is given “to a local, national, or world leader who has demonstrated the values and philosophy of a Jesuit education namely moral character, service to others, and unquestionable integrity.”

Past recipients include Mother Theresa of Calcutta, The Hon. Moon Landrieu, and Tom Benson. Loyola’s recognition of these individuals is based on outstanding character, someone who has a great impact on their community and should be emulated by the Loyola community as a whole.
