Sexual Assault Awareness Week will be from April 4 to April 8.
The week is an attempt to make students more aware of the issue of sexual assault.
Various events will be held on campus throughout the week.
On April 4 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., the Women’s Resource center will be hosting the event “Soup and Substance.”
On April 5, they will hold the Brown Bag Sexual Assault Advocates event. Students will bring a lunch and discuss the issue.
On April 7 at 5:15 p.m. at Tulane’s LBC Quad, there will be the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event.
This event is a part of the International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence.
