Loyola alumnus Brian Ea A ’12 received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program English Teaching Assistantship grant to Thailand, one of only 20 who received the grant this year.
Ea, a graduate of Loyola’s Department of English, will be teaching English in a classroom starting in October, though his exact location and age group has not been determined yet. “The constant enthusiasm of the professors here at Loyola and the school’s emphasis on community engagement were major factors in developing my interest in teaching abroad,” Ea said.
