Brief: SGA working on replacement constitution

Loyola’s Student Government Association began the 2013 school year without a finalized constitution. In a campus wide referendum beginning on March 14, students approved some proposed constitutional changes, but struck down other proposed changes. Leaving SGA with an incomplete set of rules with which to conduct business. Barnes said, SGA officials worked to craft a new document over the summer. The constitution is now awaiting approval from the office of student affairs, Barnes said.

From there, SGA will make the document publically available through OrgSync, Barnes said.
