To The Women of Loyola University/New Orleans:

It is a sorrowful day when a University that sells itself to both parents and studentsas furthering social justice has a spokesman that views women as sex objects. Cover up, ladies and don’t smoke. This will keep sexual violence from happening to you. While you’re at it, pay thousands for a college education, but do remember that what you really should be earaning is a MRS.

I am the mother of four, three young women and a young man. I pray constantly that my daughterswill not be the object of unwanted sexual attention. I have encouraged all three to take steps to protect themselves at all times. My husband and I have instilled in our son a respect for women that precludes sexual violence of any nature.

Women of Loyola,New Orleans, continue to raise awareness, educating both women and men. Prove that social justice is active, not passive. Above all,stamp out mysogeny at its roots.
