Brief: Keiva Council signs pro contract Lithuania

Keiva Council, a former basketball player for Loyola has signed a contract with Klaipeda Fortuna of Lithuanian Women’s Professional Basketball League. While playing for the Lady Wolf Pack, Council was named a NAIA All-American, WBCA All-American, National All Jesuit Women’s Team, SSAC All-Conference and All-Louisiana by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. Council currently holds the Loyola individual season records, averaging 23.1 points per game for the 2011-2012 season and the single game high with 48 points in a game last season against Northwestern State.
