In the recent poll of Southern States Athletic Conference coaches, Loyola was picked to repeat as the West Division Champions. Loyola received nine more points than Western Division foe William Carey University, who came in at second, followed by Belhaven University, Faulkner College, Spring Hill College and Auburn Montgomery University. The men’s team was also picked third in a poll of all SSAC members behind Southern Poly and Lee. Coming off a 20-10 record last season, the Wolf Pack has come out of the gate strong with a 2-0 record thus far this season.
