Wolf Pack volleyball finish regular season

The Loyola volleyball team went 1-1 over the weekend, closing out their season with a 3-2 win over Martin Methodist University on Friday and a 3-1 loss at Bethel University on Saturday.

On Friday, Loyola won a tough match against SSAC opponent Martin Methodist University beating them in 5 sets, 3-2. The Wolf pack exchanged sets with the Redhawks but ultimately claimed the final set with a decisive 15-5 score heading into the final game of the regular season.

The Wolf pack looked to close out their season with a victory at Bethel University, but the Wildcats sent Loyola home with a 3-1 loss.

Loyola finished the season with a record of 14-21 overall, and went 8-12 in Southern States Athletic Conference play, according to Loyola Athletics. The Wolf pack will enter the SSAC Volleyball Championships as the seventh seed in the 8-team tournament.

The Wolf pack will travel to SSAC Championships which will take place on Nov. 10-12 at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery, Ala.
