After seven straight wins, the Loyola Men’s basketball team’s season came to an end in the first round of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championship tournament. The team made quite the comeback going into the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship with a 14-17 record and winning before going into nationals. The Wolf Pack won the SSAC championship in four games within four days, making history. The Wolf Pack played Freed-Hardmen in the NAIA first round National Championship tournament game and lost 56-79.
