Loyola’s head men’s golf coach Lisa Tinkler announced the signing of Hunter Crochet to the 2013 signing class. Crochet is a native of Lake Charles, La. where he has played on the St. Louis Catholic High School golf team for four seasons. Crochet was a member of the 2009 Louisiana State Championship Team at St. Louis Catholic. He earned Academic All-State by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
So far in 2013, Crochet has finished in the top 10 in every tournament he has participated except one. He will participate in the LGA Amateur Qualifying Tournament over the summer. Crochet is the third player to join the Wolf Pack men’s golf team. He will join Keith Burkard and Cody Leis who signed earlier this year.
