Wolf Pack volleyball lost in straight sets at home to Southern University New Orleans Wednesday night. Despite the straight set loss, the Pack, (2-7) kept all three sets close losing by scores of 29-31, 19-25 and 19-25. General business studies sophomore Katie Hamilton powered the Wolf Pack offense with a career-high of 10 kills. Crimal justice sophomore Kaylin Storey also had a strong defensive game with 10 digs of her own. The loss is the team’s second in a row at home and its fourth overall since beating Columbia College on Aug. 31.
The Pack will try to snap their loosing streak on the road against Faulkner on Sept. 13 as Loyola begins its conference schedule.
