Brief: Ignation awards announced

The Ignatian Awards for Outstanding Senior and Graduate Students were announced last week. The awards are given to students who represent Loyola’s commitment to Ignatian values.

Sociology/criminal justice senior Garkeiva “Keiva” Council won the Outstanding Ignatian Senior Woman award. Theater/business senior james McBride won the Outstanding Ignatian Senior Man award.

Counseling graduate student Stephanie Ducros won the Outstanding Ignatian Graduate Student award. Law student Sara H. Godchaux won the Outstanding Ignatian Law Student award.

The Ignatian Awards are the highest awards presented by the university to graduating students. Recipients show pronounced involvement in university life and are strongly committed to faith.
