Brief: Loyola ranks as top in the south

U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges” has recently named Loyola University New Orleans as the recipient of several new and reoccurring honors. In addition to being ranked overall in the top ten among Regional Universities of the South for the 22nd year in a row, Loyola has also acquired listings in “A-Plus School for B Students,” “Great School at Great Prices” and the nation’s top 27 universities with outstanding examples of community service initiatives. Loyola President Kevin Wm. Wildes, S.J., Ph.D. responded to these honors saying, “To be ranked in the top ten among southern universities for over 20 years is quite an accomplishment and reflective of the hard work and commitment of our students, faculty and staff.”
