Eloise Pickering, Editor in Chief
Eloise Pickering is excited to be the editor in chief of The Maroon this semester! This is her third year at Loyola University and with The Maroon. Eloise has previously worked as the assistant campus news editor, the worldview editor, and the managing editor for the newsroom. She is passionate about journalism, and enjoys covering breaking news. Eloise’s greatest accomplishment thus far is covering Tulane’s 2024 encampment, where she won awards for the photos she took. Outside of The Maroon, she has worked with the Humane Society of Louisiana writing press releases, and is published in the Pittcon Today! magazine and with NOLA.com. Eloise could not be more honored to lead this award-winning publication into it’s next semester!

Alana Frank serves as the Breaking News Editor, where she works to deliver timely, accurate coverage of urgent events impacting the Loyola community. She previously led the Campus News section, delving into her love for reporting, editing, and managing coverage on a wide range of campus issues. A second-year Mass Communications major with a concentration in Journalism and a minor in Pre-Law, Alana is passionate about keeping students informed, shining a light on diverse voices, and fostering an inclusive campus.
