The Loyola Police Department announced they will be getting a new dispatch system.

Instead of partnering up with the Tulane Police Department, LUPD has partnered with the company Campus Dispatch, Chief Todd Warren said.

Warren said the new system will help students with emergencies, non-emergencies, and parking issues through a call tree. This will make sure students’ needs are met at a faster, more efficient rate.

The dispatch will also include a number to text after the students first call to them.
