In their first home game back after a nine day road trip, the Wolf Pack defended their home court in a 84-44 win over the William Carey College Crusaders. Though the game was competitive in the first half, the Wolf Pack hit the ground running in the second half leading by as much as 42 at one point.

“We woke up defensively and didn’t let them get comfortable in the second half. We knew that once we got stops and got out and ran, they wouldn’t be able to hang with us,” said biology and pre-med junior, Di’mond Jackson.

“Once we got into a grove, there was no stopping us.”

Paige Franckiewicz led the team in scoring with 21 points and six three-pointers. Jackson also had 10 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds, earning her first triple-double of her career.

“[Di’Mond] Jackson’s triple-double was big. It really shows how well our offense was flowing for her to get 10 assists in this game.” said head coach, Kellie Kennedy.
