Loyola recorded it’s new lowest round score in school history Tuesday Sept. 4 at the Savannah College of Arts and Design Atlanta Fall Invitational. In the first round of the tournament the Wolf Pack scored two under par with a 282. The previous record was a 285 set last year at last year’s SCAD Atlanta Fall Invitational.
Loyola placed third overall in the tournament after finishing on Wednesday with a 285 good for a combined tournament score of one under par at 567.
Business senior Phillip Nijoka led the way for the Wolf Pack finishing in third place in the tournament with a total score of 137 good for five under par.
Finance freshman Lee Chong Li followed right behind him finishing in fourth place at 138 for four under par.
The Wolf Pack improved upon last season after placing fifth in the same tournament at The Oaks.
Loyola is scheduled to tee off next at the University of New Orleans Privateer Invitational on Sept. 10 and 11 at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans.
