This illustration provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in January 2020 shows the 2019 Novel Coronavirus. Loyola will no longer require proof of vaccination to attend university events or use university facilities.
COVID-19 cases are on the rise at Loyola, according to an email by Vice President of Student Affairs Alicia Bourque.
Those with positive test reports must isolate and notify [email protected], according to Bourque.
Bourque encourages the Loyola community to use basic hygienic practices, such as handwashing and covering coughs and sneezes, and maintain adequate vaccination status, per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Student Health Services is now accepting walk-in appointments for students who are symptomatic.
