Gabriella Killett, Editor in Chief

Gabby Killett has been an award-winning journalist for The Maroon since her freshman year in 2019 before helping it win the top award in college media, a Pacemaker, during her sophomore year as News Editor. She has also worked as a staff writer for The Times Picayune since February 2021, with a primary focus on crime reporting. She is a second semester senior and will graduate in December with a degree in mass communication with a concentration in journalism and a minor in Spanish. Killett enjoys her free time with her partner, Ramón, and his wonderful son, Oscar, at their Metairie home, building legos, cooking and spending time with her beloved extended family.
